‘Future Bedford’ Harpur Trust Art Competition 2022
I recently had the pleasure of returning as a Visiting Artist for the Harpur Trust’s bi-annual Art Competition. Delivering workshops to 9 schools across Bedford Borough, I worked with the children aged 4 – 14 to help them explore and respond to the theme of Future Bedford using new or unfamiliar techniques, processes and mediums.
As well as working directly with the children, I was Lead Artist in the delivery of CPD workshops to teachers.
Judged by representatives from The Higgins, BCA and Bedford College, I was delighted to have worked with 10 of the 25 pupils and 6 of the schools who were awarded prizes.
